THE PREDICTION
St. Mirren enjoyed some strong form in parts of this season but they have struggled since losing manager Jim Goodwin to Aberdeen. A 0-4 hammering at home to Rangers last time out is no great surprise but conceding four goals in back-to-back league games after a 4-2 loss at Motherwell before is pretty concerning form to take into the relegation round. Travelling Hibernian sacked Shaun Maloney after just four months in charge as their season went from bad to worse with back-to-back defeats at rivals Hearts seeing them drop into the relegation round and crash out of the FA Cup. The visitors will be something of an anomaly now with a potential reaction to their manager’s departure so taking both teams to score looks a suitable alternative to picking a result. Both teams have scored in each of Hibs’ last five matches and two of St. Mirren’s last three.
