St. Mirren have strung three draws together in a row after a hard-fought 2-2 draw away at Hibernian last Saturday. They are yet to earn a first win but there is a significant chance of that at home to struggling Aberdeen, who are winless in seven matches across all competitions. The Dons won their opening two games but they have clearly not coped well with their brief stint in Europe with no league wins since and back-to-back defeats to nil against Motherwell and most recently St. Johnstone. There is little case to suggest either side is favourite to win this one, so double chance for the hosts to avoid defeat seems a suitable, if cautious option here.
