Rangers will start this weekend’s fixtures in third place of the Scottish Premiership after four matches but they look set to make it back to the top sooner rather than later. The reigning champions are unbeaten in five after a confidence-boosting 1-0 win over Old Firm rivals Celtic before the international break and they travel to St. Johnstone next with their hosts in the mire. St. Johnstone have just one win this season across all competitions and that came via penalties against Arbroath in the League Cup. They look to have struggled with the Europa Conference League qualifying but following a much-needed break their form should come back with only domestic competition to worry about.
