Motherwell have improved on last season’s sorry campaign to make that crucial cut into the top six of the Scottish Premiership. Four points from their last two league games in a win at home to St. Mirren and away at Livingston saw them score a total of six goals and with travelling Rangers netting eight in their last two in the league goals look a solid market here. Rangers have a lot of ground to cover after two league defeats in recent times to leaders Celtic but spirits will be high after they beat their Old Firm rivals 1-2 after extra time last weekend to reach the Scottish FA Cup final. Only Celtic have beaten Rangers in the league since last August, so taking the visitors to win and over 2.5 goals looks a useful combination here.
