THE PREDICTION
The Ukrainian Premier League has confirmed the league will not be able to finish this season after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The atrocities being committed leave the continuation of the Russian Premier League in a surreal state and circumstances with managers, players and clubs in a general state of flux. Bear in mind that this league could be suspended at any stage given the ongoing situation. This Moscow derby lacks a lot of needle after UEFA’s banning of Russian clubs from European competition next season, meaning there is little to fight for. Dinamo Moscow do have the distraction of a cup semi-final during the midweek against Alaniya Vladikavkaz. Given that, as well as home advantage, Lokomotiv Moscow will be expected to come out on top in this one.
