THE PREDICTION
The Ukrainian Premier League has confirmed the league will not be able to finish this season after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The atrocities being committed leave the continuation of the Russian Premier League in a surreal state and circumstances with managers, players and clubs in a general state of flux. Bear in mind that this league could be suspended at any stage given the ongoing situation. These are two sides in danger of dropping into the second division. Arsenal Tula begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting at the bottom-of-the-table and they do come into this on the back of three successive defeats and they are winless in their last ten matches in all competitions. They have scored just one goal in their last five matches. They now come up against a Nizhny Novgorod side that, following promotion last season, will view survival as success. However, the visitors started the season well before pretty much collapsing. The visitors are hovering just above the bottom four. They have scored just 23 goals in their 26 matches so far this season. Under 2.5 goals appears inevitable for this one.
