Tambov saw their three-game unbeaten run come to an end with a narrow 1-0 defeat at Lokomotiv Moscow last Sunday and they now meet Lokomotiv’s cross-city rivals Spartak – a team they surprisingly did the double over last season. A repeat does seem unlikely though, especially with the way the visitors have started the season as they are managing to keep pace with Zenit at the top of the table. They have scored in every game they have contested this season while Tambov have failed to find the net on three occasions so Spartak look like a promising option in the Team to Score First market.
