Tambov’s terrible run of form continued with a 5-1 loss to Spartak Moscow last weekend which made it five straight defeats in the Russian Premier League – their worst sequence of results in any competition since they were established in 2013. If they are to overcome this slump though, then Rubin Kazan could be the right team to face as they are offering up plenty of chances right now. The visitors have lost four of their last five games in all competitions and are lacking fluency at the moment but backing Tambov is certainly a risky business.
