THE PREDICTION
Sochi held on to a draw with in-form Krasnodar last weekend despite playing a large proportion of the second half with 10 men and they remain in a strong position in the table – one which they surely would have taken before the season started. They entertain a Rostov side who are proving very tough to beat though, with Valeri Karpin’s men having lost just once in their last seven league games (including their forfeit win over Rotor Volgograd). This is the same fixture that resulted in a 10-1 win for Sochi in June when Rostov were forced to play with most of their youth team, but the situation is very different now and this time around a draw looks like a probable outcome.
