Domenico Tedesco replaced Jesse Marsch at RB Leipzig last season with the German club under-achieving mid-way through the campaign. However, under the former Schalke boss, they were much-improved and finished comfortably inside the top four. Tedesco now has his first full pre-season to get into a good groove. Liverpool, after winning the 2019/20 Premier League title, had a terrible pre-season ahead of 2020/21 and that season saw The Reds fall away and barely make it into the top four. Klopp’s side had a magnificent campaign last season but the signs that the 2020 off-season could be repeating are beginning to show. They were hammered by Manchester United but did manage a comfortable victory against Crystal Palace. They have done a lot of travelling this summer already and Leipzig, especially with home advantage, would represent a good bet.
