Under the management of Artur Jorge, Braga suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat to Vitoria and they are in difficult form now. The home team remain just inside the top three ahead of this weekend’s round of fixtures as they seek to break up ‘Os Tres Grandes’ and qualify for the UEFA Champions League. They now face a Rio Ave side that, following promotion last weekend, defeated Chaves by a goal to nil. The visitors sit firmly in the middle-of-the-table. Braga should win this one, though, especially with their home advantage.
