Pacos de Ferreira begin this weekend's round of fixtures sitting firmly in the bottom two and the automatic relegation places. The home team's most recent outing was a much-needed 2-1 win away at Vizela to close the gap on Maritimo in the relegation playoff place. They now face a Sporting CP side that, under the management of Ruben Amorim, continued their good form with a 2-1 win at home to Famalicao but the visitors remain outside of the top three and the UEFA Champions League qualification spots.
