A 2-1 defeat at home to Boavista last weekend has continued Arouca’s reversion to the mean after they had started the season relatively well. They have lost two and drawn one of their last three matches as they sit in the bottom-half of the table. Despite losing some key players, as well as manager Pepa, and lost in the early stages of the UEFA Europa Conference League, Vitoria had started the season well. They have since dipped, though, and a low-scoring encounter, regardless of the result, looks the way to go for this one.
