Santa Clara have been enjoying an excellent season so far but two defeats in their last two games has just halted their progress. After setbacks against Vitoria Guimaraes and Moreirense, they now face Benfica so their task does not get any easier. The Lisbon giants know they simply have to win to keep up with leaders Sporting who picked up a vital 2-0 win over Braga to extend their lead. Benfica edged past Portimonense last time out 2-1 and they are not at their best right now but this game will hold no fears for them and they should have more than enough quality to take all three points.
