THE PREDICTION
Boavista head into this weekend’s penultimate round of Primeira Liga fixtures inside the relegation playoff place, but will see this match at home to an out of form Portimonense as a golden chance to haul themselves out of the bottom three. To do so however, they’ll have to end a run of five league games without a win and will be relying largely on their attacking firepower to help them on their way, having scored 12 goals over the course of their last eight fixtures. Portimonense are also winless in their most recent five matches and it would be no surprise if their players had half an eye on the post-season break as they lie safely in mid table. Any lack of effort and concentration from the visitors will be seized upon by a hugely motivated Boavista side fighting for their lives and with home advantage also in their favour, they may just do enough to edge this one and should be considered draw no bet.
