THE PREDICTION
Following promotion last season, Jerv began their 2022 Eliteserien campaign but have since drifted quite dramatically. The home team suffered a 2-1 defeat away to Aalesund during the midweek, making it three successive defeats and they are now winless in their last five matches as they begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting in the bottom two and the automatic relegation places. They now come up against a Sarpsborg side that come into this on the back of three successive defeats of their own as they drift into mid-table. Jerv are the league’s lowest scorers with four goals and Sarpsborg haven’t exactly been prolific so, regardless of the result between these two out-of-form sides, a low-scoring encounter is expected.
