THE PREDICTION
Only three points separated Pachuca and Leon last season in the regular Liga MX table, although the Guardianes final phase saw Leon beaten on penalties in the reclassification round, whilst Pachuca reached the semi-finals. The visitors have since changed manager, with Ariel Holan now in charge, who has overseen a significant change in player personnel and it will take time for Holan to implement his desired style of play on the squad. Pachuca meanwhile, look in a good position to build on their previous campaign and the signing of Nicolas Ibanez from Atletico Madrid should provide the hosts with some much-needed firepower.
