THE PREDICTION
Necaxa come into this on the back of a 2022 campaign in which they finished 14th in the Apertura and then ninth in the Clausura. They remain managed by former Mexico under-23 boss Jaime Lozano who took charge of the club ahead of their improved Clausura campaign. They now face a Toluca side that had the opposite sort of season. They slipped out of the top 14 to finish 15th in the Clausura in the 2022 campaign.
