THE PREDICTION
These two finished eighth and ninth in the Clausura campaign. Cruz Azul were CONCACAF Champions League semi-finalists and that caused a distraction with just one victory in their last seven matches in all competitions. They have scored just three goals in that run of form. Necaxa finished the Clausura season with a slender 1-0 defeat at home to Guadalajara, following on from three successive victories. The visitors’ last three matches have consisted of just four goals and under 2.5 goals appears an inevitability for this one, given the respective records for these two.
