THE LOWDOWN

TORINO

Torino are ending the season superbly well and will hope to bow out on a high as they host Inter Milan. They were impressive 0-4 winners against Spezia last time out as they made it five games without defeat and they will believe they can extend that record here.

Torino went ahead midway through the first half as Przemyslaw Wisniewski put through his own net but it was not until the 72nd minute that the floodgates opened with efforts from Samuele Ricci, Ivan Ilic and Yann Karamoh.

Despite their recent unbeaten run, they have still lacked quality on home soil and have failed to win any of their last six. Three of their last four have ended in stalemate but it is the three points that they will be desperate to claim here.

INTER MILAN

Inter Milan are building nicely for the UEFA Champions League final against Manchester City. They continued their excellent run of form with another success last time out, prevailing 3-2 against a potentially dangerous Atalanta outfit.

Romelu Lukaku gave his side the lead inside the first minute and their dream start continued in the third as Nicolo Barella doubled the lead. Mario Pasalic pulled one back but Lautaro Martinez put the game beyond Atalanta before an own goal from Andre Onana in stoppage time made it a nervy finish.

Inter have now won 10 of their last 11 matches in all competitions and that record could well be improved upon here as they aim to carry their momentum into Europe’s showpiece next weekend.

THE PREDICTION

Torino are unbeaten in their last five but come up against a side that have performed even better over a longer period. Inter Milan have won 10 of their last 11 across the board and with Torino struggling to find a way to win on home soil, preference is for the visitors to claim another three points in their final league game of the season.

TIP: INTER MILAN TO WIN
