TORINO PREVIEW: VANOLI’S IMPROVEMENT
Over the summer, Torino took the decision to part company with Ivan Juric in order to make their football more entertaining. They finished ninth last season but only 72 goals came in their 38 matches and he was replaced by Paolo Vanoli, who had led Venezia back to the top-flight last season.
The home team had started the campaign extremely well but they now come into this one on the back of a three-match losing streak as they move away from the upper echelons of Serie A. Their most recent outing saw them suffer a 3-2 defeat to Cagliari at the Sardegna Arena in which they were 2-1 up with just 15 or so minutes to go.
COMO PREVIEW: FUN COMO
Last season, Como gained promotion to the top-flight of Italian football under the management of Oisin Roberts, whilst Cesc Fabregas continued to finish his coaching badges. Cesc Fabregas has now done that so he is now officially the head coach as the ambitious Como recruit big names and seek to push up the Serie A table.
The visitors started the season relatively iffily but they have now suffered just one defeat in their last five matches in the top-flight. They shared a 1-1 draw with Parma by the lake last weekend and they have been entertaining throughout this campaign with their eight games so far this season consisting of 26 goals.
TORINO TEAM NEWS: ISSUES IN THE SPINE
Torino have a few key injury concerns through the heart of their side as they prepare to face Como with Croatia defender Borna Sosa now on the sidelines.
As well as Sosa, the hosts are also without midfielder Ivan Ilic as well as Colombia international striker Duvan Zapata with both Perr Schuurs and Alieu Njie doubts for this one.

TORINO VS COMO PREDICTION
Torino played quite easy on the eye but overly controlled football which led to their low-scoring tendencies last season but they do have a bit more precision and efficiency in the final third this time around – which they could do with rediscovering. Como head to Turin on the back of a fun start to the season with Cesc Fabregas’ style of football as proactive as would be anticipated. Over 2.5 goals seems like a good bet for what could be a fun match-up.
TORINO VS COMO TIP: OVER 2.5 GOALS
