Luciano Spalletti’s Napoli started the season rated as potential outsiders for the title and they’ve started in a calm and composed manner so far with a very strong squad. Victories against Genoa and Venezia have helped them cruise to six points but it hasn’t been overly comfortable. They come up against a Juventus side that are stalling and stagnating in terms of personnel and the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo could go either way. They could become more cohesive as a side but it is true that Ronaldo won games against weaker sides last season, even if he was detrimental to the overall balance and structure of the side. The hoists might actually come into this as slight favourites but it is definitely expected to be relatively low-scoring.
