This pair of nations are in action for the first time since last November and they are using this game in preparation for the resumption of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers next month. Libya have a new head coach at the helm since they last played, with Ali El Margini replacing Tunisian Faouzi Benzarti who left earlier this year, El Margini was previously Benzarti’s assistant so the fact he is already familiar with the players should mean a smoother transition. The fact that both sides are in action for the first time in almost a year and are solely using this as a tune-up for the November AFCON qualifiers means that we are not likely to see a free-flowing encounter and this contest could well end in a stalemate.
