THE PREDICTION
This is a repeat of the 2019 AFCON third-place play-off match which saw Nigeria come out on top courtesy of a goal from Odion Ighalo early in the contest - that victory ended a run of three successive draws between these two nations and another tight encounter is expected here. Although this is only a friendly match both coaches have talked up the importance of going into the upcoming AFCON qualifying matches in November on the back of a positive result. Nigeria come into this fixture having lost 1-0 against Algeria on Friday and their boss Gernot Rohr will certainly be looking for a better attacking performance. Tunisia eased to a 3-0 victory over Sudan in their first outing of 2020, the win was their fourth in a row and there is a good feeling of confidence in the squad that they are going in the right direction.
