THE PREDICTION
Both of these teams would have been playing competitively in World Cup qualifying matches this week but as those fixtures were postponed they have arranged a friendly game. This is Nicaragua’s first outing in just under eight months so they are unlikely to be as well prepared as Guatemala who were in action last week against Mexico. Although the visitors lost that match 3-0, it was against strong opposition and they look capable of claiming a victory in this contest. Nicaragua are weak in attack - they have only scored one goal in their last five matches - and so a win to nil for Guatemala could be on the cards.
