Niger absolutely hammered Djibouti by seven goals to two at the end of their fairly disappointing CAF 2022 FIFA World Cup second round qualifying campaign. That was before they faced Mozambique the other day. That second round qualifying stage consisted of two thrilling victories against Djibouti, with an aggregate of 11-4, as well as three defeats and one draw. They conceded 17 goals in six games, despite winning two of those matches. They now come up against a Libya side that a 2-0 win and a 2-0 defeat against Kuwait last month. Libya’s own FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign began well and they look like they may challenge Egypt before falling apart in their final four matches. Libya will be the favourites for this one.
