THE PREDICTION

Guatemala come into this on the back of a couple months without football since their elimination from the CONCACAF Gold Cup in July. A 1-1 draw against Trinidad and Tobago followed back-to-back to nil defeats in the group stages whilst Nicaragua haven’t played since their elimination in the first round of CONCACAF’s 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification. Neither of these two into the game with great preparation and therefore attacking patterns of play are likely to be infrequent so under 2.5 goals probably looks the way to go for this one.
