A Lionel Messi penalty was enough to earn Argentina a scrappy 1-0 victory over Ecuador in their World Cup qualifying opener and they are now faced with the task of playing at high altitude in the Estadio Hernando Siles. Bolivia suffered a heavy 5-0 defeat to Brazil last time out but they are notoriously difficult to break down on home turf. Argentina have failed to win any of their last three visits to Bolivia although they will still be expected to take three points from this encounter given the attacking talent at their disposal. The hosts will set up to frustrate Messi and co and they could have some joy given that Argentina hardly looked fluid in their win over Ecuador. This match could therefore be a low-scoring one so backing against both teams scoring seems a sensible play here.
