THE PREDICTION
Ukraine may be unbeaten after three World Cup qualification matches, but all three of those games have ended in draws, including one at home to their opponents here. That 1-1 draw is the only point Kazakhstan have gained in Group D so far and they know that victory here will see them leapfrog Ukraine. For that reason, Kazakhstan are expected to deploy an attacking style of play here, pushing bodies forward whenever possible with home advantage in their favour. However, whilst this may see them afforded more joy in front of goal, Ukraine will likely gain chances themselves on the counter attack and their attacking players such as Roman Yaremchuk and Ruslan Malinovsky certainly have the quality to take advantage of any space in-behind. Therefore, both teams to score is expected in this one, as was the case when the two sides collided in Kyiv.
