THE PREDICTION

Libya have changed their head coach since the last round of qualifying group matches last November, with Ali El Margini having replaced Tunisian Faouzi Benzarti earlier this year. A match against the lowest-ranked nation in their group is not a bad opening fixture for El Margini, but it does come with some pressure, as it’s surely a fixture that they need to win. Equatorial Guinea won’t be pushovers, however, as they showed in their previous two matches against Tunisia and Tanzania - they lost by a one-goal margin in both games. The fact that Libya are forced to play their home fixtures outside of their own country means that home advantage is not a factor here either and so some caution is advised. Libya draw no bet could be the best option to take if you are having a wager.
