THE PREDICTION
Mauritania may have extended their unbeaten start to the 2021 AFCON qualifying tournament with a 1-1 draw when these two nations met on Wednesday, but there was certainly a sense of frustration with the result too, as they had led 1-0 with just ten minutes remaining. Burundi, on the other hand, were very pleased to have picked up their first point of the campaign, courtesy of an excellent free-kick from Saidi Ntibazonkiza. Mauritania paid the price for not taking their chances in that match and the fact that they have scored a total of only three goals in their last nine AFCON qualifying away fixtures suggest that they might well fail to claim maximum points here too.
