These two teams are relatively evenly-matched and their only two previous meetings in World Cup qualifying back in 2013 saw both matches end in draws. Azerbaijan will be confident at home and that could be a major advantage for them but Luxembourg have equally shown in recent years – like the hosts – that they can pull off results against teams of a similar level. Without fans and in temperatures that are somewhat reasonable, Azerbaijan’s home advantage will not be what it usually is and that will help the visitors. Difficult to see anything other than a stalemate between these two.
