THE PREDICTION
Norway should be improving whilst Greece are improving. Stale Solbakken is in charge of potentially a new ‘golden generation’ for Norwegian football led by Erling Braut Haland and Martin Odegaard. However, some poor performances in World Cup qualifying in March followed by a lacklustre 1-0 win over Luxembourg, via a late Haland goal, means a lot must be improved on. Greek football has always been suggested to be defensive - especially after the way in which they won Euro 2004 with three 1-0 wins in the knockouts. It has been in the doldrums since 2014 but 1-1 draws against Spain and Belgium already in 2021 would suggest a corner might be turned in terms of organisation both on and off the pitch. Given that, a draw seems like a solid bet for this one.
