With both sides coming off the back of defeats in their opening matches of this season’s Indian Super League, both Jamshedpur and Odisha will be desperate to get themselves off the mark here. It was a particularly disappointing result for Jamshedpur head coach Owen Coyle, who suffered defeat against his former club Chennaiyin. The pressure on for Coyle to get his squad with a number of new players functioning like a team as quickly as possible. Both teams are likely to play with caution, knowing the ramifications of two successive defeats early on in the campaign.
