THE PREDICTION
East Bengal finally picked up their first Indian Super League win of the season at the eighth time of asking in their bottom of the table clash with Odisha. Robbie Fowler’s side remain in 10th place however and face a tough task backing that victory up here with third placed Goa their next opponents. Two successive victories have seen Goa rise up into the top three spots, despite having not kept a clean sheet in their last four league games with head coach Juan Ferrando prioritising attack over defence. The confidence East Bengal gained after their win over Odisha will do them good heading into this contest and regardless of the overall outcome, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see East Bengal find the net, with them having scored eight goals in their last four league matches. With that in mind, both teams to score should be seriously considered.
