WOLFSBURG PREVIEW: ON THE BACK OF WIN NUMBER TWO THIS SEASON
Wolfsburg will have been very happy and probably relieved to get out of Bochum with a 1-3 victory just before the international break, only their second league win of 2024-25 so far in what has been a tough run of fixtures. They’ve already faced last season’s top three, taking just a point from a possible nine.
However, Wolfsburg have shown enough to prove that they are very much likely not to be involved in any relegation battle, winning against the likes of Bochum and Holstein Kiel, clubs expected to be among the ones fighting for survival come the business end of the season.
WERDER BREMEN PREVIEW: HOME FORM A WORRY FOR WERDER
Werder Bremen may well be happy to be on the road for the first round of games to be played post-October international break when considering their home struggles this season. They’ve taken just a point from the three Bundesliga fixtures played on their own patch so far this campaign, most recently losing to Bayern Munich and Freiburg.
Away, Werder have been better and indeed gained their only two league wins of 2024-25 thus far, defeating both Mainz and Hoffenheim. Victory here vs Wolfsburg would be their third away triumph on the bounce.

WOLFSBURG VS WERDER BREMEN PREDICTION
There’s been little between the pair over the course of the season so far and that is reflected by their respective places in the table heading into this round of Bundesliga fixtures. Both will see this as eminently winnable and as two teams who should want to attack at every opportunity and try to create opportunities, we could be in for an entertaining affair. The result could go either way, but the shrewd move may be backing goals, over 2.5 of them to be precise.
WOLFSBURG VS WERDER BREMEN TIP: OVER 2.5 GOALS
