THE PREDICTION

Freiburg pulled off the biggest surprise of round two in the Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund and now travel to Stuttgart looking to maintain their unbeaten status in the league. The hosts may be coming off the back of a 4-0 thrashing away at RB Leipzig, but they did win their opening league game of the season 5-1 over Greuther Furth and with home advantage in their favour again here, will prove formidable opposition for Freiburg. Little is expected to separate the two, with the visitors likely to prioritise defensive stability by keeping bodies behind the ball and making themselves difficult to break down. This may lead to a frustrating encounter for Stuttgart, which sees them forced to settle for a point against an opposition who have already proved their resilience this season.
