THE PREDICTION

Stuttgart’s 0-2 win away at Wolfsburg means that they have now gained seven points from their last three Bundesliga games. However, they face by far their toughest challenge since going on this positive run of results as Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich roll into town. However, Julian Nagelsmann’s side are nursing a number of injury worries, particularly in central midfield where the Bayern boss could be forced to field a makeshift pairing of Tanguy Nianzou and Jamal Musiala. This may leave the table toppers exposed defensively and as was the case this past weekend against Mainz, it would be no surprise if Bayern were to concede in this game. Whilst the reigning champions will rightly enter this match as favourites regardless, backing both teams to score may prove the smart play.
