Jesse Marsch has endured a rough start to life at RB Leipzig, losing three of his opening four Bundesliga games as head coach and his side head to Koln on the back of a 6-3 defeat away to Premier League winners Man City in the Champions League. The hosts in contrast, sit four points clear of Leipzig with two wins, a draw and just one defeat to their name so far in this season’s Bundesliga. Facing a side like Man City just three days ago will surely have taken its toll physically on the visitors and Koln could well capitalise here against an opponent low on confidence, although they’ll need to keep close tabs on Christopher Nkunku who netted a hat-trick in Manchester. Whilst Leipzig head into this one as favourites, backing Koln double chance is well worth considering that their only defeat in 2021-22 so far has come away at Bayern Munich.
