THE PREDICTION

The question on everybody’s mind heading into this one is whether Borussia Dortmund can cope without Erling Haaland. They couldn’t away at Borussia Monchengladbach, whom they lost 1-0 against last weekend, however BVB did come through a Champions League group stage tie 1-0 at home to Sporting CP in midweek. Augsburg have just one win to their name so far this season and have conceded 11 goals across their six Bundesliga fixtures. Whilst it’s difficult to see Borussia Dortmund winning this match by a huge margin without Haaland, Marco Rose’s side should still have enough strength-in-depth going forward to overcome the visitors with home advantage in their favour.
