The final Der Klassiker of the season represents Borussia Dortmund’s final realistic chance of mounting any sort of title challenge to runaway league leaders Bayern Munich. With that in mind, Marco Rose’s side have no choice but to take the game to the hosts offensively, knowing that only a win will do for them. Whilst they are expected to find the net at least once particularly with Erling Haaland leading the line, Bayern could be afforded plenty of space inside the Dortmund half and contain the tools to ruthlessly punish their opponents, not least with Robert Lewandowski up top.
