Following an impressive spell with Young Boys in the Swiss Super League, Gerardo Seoane’s first year at Bayer Leverkusen was largely impressive. They started this season horrendously, though, with three successive defeats. That run was ended by a much-needed 3-0 hammering of Mainz last weekend. They now face a Freiburg side that, under the management of Christian Streich, have performed above their expectations consistently and they are doing so again with three wins in their opening four matches. Their only defeat came against Borussia Dortmund. A draw would appear the likeliest outcome for this one as the hosts look to continue to steady their ship.
