Mainz have endured a poor start to the Bundesliga season and are one
of just three teams without a point to their name after three matches.
They suffered their third straight loss in their game with Union Berlin
before the international break and that 4-0 defeat will set alarm bells
ringing. They have now conceded at least three in all of their games so
far and that does not bode well ahead of this visit of Bayer Leverkusen.
