THE PREDICTION

Failure to gain three points here would definitely sentence Ingolstadt to finishing rock bottom of the 2, Bundesliga table with relegation already confirmed. Hansa Rostock meanwhile have secured safety, but are winless in their last four games and come into this one on the back of three successive draws. Erzgebirge Aue managed to gain a point against Hansa and there is no reason why Ingolstadt cannot do the same on their own ground with their players no doubt desperate to avoid that dreaded wooden spoon. However, the fragility of Ingolstadt’s backline makes backing them outright a big risk, so play it safe and back the home team to either win or draw via the double chance market.
