THE PREDICTION
Last Saturday’s 3-1 win at home to Paderborn saw Hamburger SV extend their unbeaten run to nine matches and their lead at the top of Bundesliga 2 to four points. On the road, Daniel Thioune’s men have lost just one of their last nine league games, although they have only managed one clean sheet in the last seven and they will be without defensive lynchpin Toni Leistner for a few weeks after he suffered an injury against Paderborn. Erzgebirge Aue have shown that they can score highly at home this season, and they do boast two of the highest-scoring forwards in the league, so while Hamburg should take the three points, it would not be a surprise if they conceded too.
