Auxerre are hanging onto their Ligue 1 status by the skin of their teeth but the pressure is on here. They need a win from their final game to ensure safety but they face a tricky task having failed to win any of their last six.
A draw with Toulouse last time out has opened up a two-point gap between themselves and the relegation zone. Rayan Raveloson handed Auxerre the lead in that game but they failed to build on it and were pegged back before the break.
They have drawn two of their last four but it may not be enough if other results do not go their way and with just one home win in their last three, they will need to be much better in this one.
LENS
Lens secured a spot in next season’s UEFA Champions League proper as they continued their brilliant run of form with a success over Ajaccio last week.
First half goals from Deiver Machado, Adrien Thomasson and Lois Openda guided Lens to a comfortable victory and that three-pointer was their sixth win in succession.

Auxerre come into this needing a win to secure their top-flight status. A loss here against Lens will cause panic to set in but it is likely to be a hugely nervy evening for them with the visitors coming into this on a huge high. They have won their last six matches and having suffered just four losses all season, it would be a surprise if Lens failed to win this one.
