An opening day 2-0 defeat at home to Angers was followed up with another two-goal defeat as they went down 4-2 at Paris Saint-Germain. Strasbourg have invested this summer and the signing of Kevin Gameiro was a statement of intent but they are yet to get off the mark. They should do this weekend against a Troyes side that have lost their first two matches of the season and whilst being enterprising against PSG on the opening day, they look a bit short for this level and Strasbourg will be the favourites.
