Stade Rennais come into this on the back of a comfortable 2-0 win at home to Rosenborg in midweek in the first-leg of their UEFA Europa Conference League playoffs. A lot of money has been pumped into Rennes with the signings of Loic Bade, Baptiste Santamaria and Kamaldeen Sulemana costing fairly big money to compliment a squad that already boasts Eduardo Camavinga, Serhou Guirassy and Martin Terrier. It is a squad that should be able to compete on several fronts and they will need their first win of the season here after back-to-back draws. They are coming up against a Nantes side that held Monaco on the opening day before defeating Metz in the second game.
