Oliver Dall’Oglio’s Montpellier Herault come into this on the back of two extremely entertaining games. Their opening day 3-2 loss at home to Jorge Sampaoli’s Marseille saw them throw away a two goal lead before they drew 3-3 away to Reims whereby they led 1-0 and 3-2 before being pegged back. They come up against a Lorient side that enjoyed a reasonable first season back in the top-flight last year but have begun this campaign in even better form with a win against Monaco and a draw at St Etienne. Given that form, they will be confident of scoring so over 2.5 goals looks a strong bet for this one.
