THE PREDICTION
Rennes’ 1-0 loss away at Bordeaux last week ended a run of six matches without a defeat and has caused a problem for their push for a top five finish but they remain in contention. They come up against a Paris Saint-Germain side that remain on the trails of Lille at the top-of-the-table and are coming into this on the back of a mental implosion at Manchester City in midweek where they dropped out of the Champions League at the semi-final stage. That distraction and the lack of clarity as to the availability of Kylian Mbappe could lead to PSG dropping some more points as their opposition have something to play for. A home win or draw on double chance would be a surprise but potentially good bet.
